Why is the X-ray Used?

The X-ray machines helps in diagnosing many bony lesions and ailments:

  • Diagnosing Fractures and Dislocations

  • Detecting Bone Tumours

  • Bone Infections

  • Degenerative diseases like OsteoArthritis

  • Metabolic diseases like Rickets etc

  • Post Surgical x-rays help in diagnosing the proper positioning of the implants inserted.

How is the Procedure Performed?

  • After you are prepared, you will be asked to sit, stand or lie down depending upon the area which requires screening.

  • In the spine x-ray, you will be asked to lie down on the x-ray table and a large camera attached to a movable vertical stand will be kept over the area to be screened.

  • You will be asked to stay still and the image will be taken

  • The test will be finished once the clear images of the desired area is taken.
